Executive Network Group are currently retained and working alongside a large complex organisation who are looking for a Director of Digital Platforms and Services.
The Director of Digital Platforms and Service is responsible for the management and ongoing evolution of the businesses Digital Platforms. This role involves leading execution of the business digital platform strategy, managing platform operations, and ensuring that digital platform initiatives align with wider Digital and Organisation strategic objectives. As the Director of Platforms and Services you will oversee Service Management that is accountable for day-to-day service operations and performance and responsible for defining the service strategy and service transition processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Vision. Execute a comprehensive digital platform strategy aligned with the Organisation business plan and goals.
* Oversee development and implementation of Digital Platforms is and ensuring they are, scalable and secure against service and security targets, policies & standards
* Manage digital service provision across 1st line helpdesk, service governance, service design & transition, major incident management and service management engagement across business.
* Monitor platform performance using KPI’s and fostering continuous improvement culture.
* Expert problem solving and solutioning. Analyse problems stepping in to make decisions and ensure action when required.
* Financial Acumen – managing budgets, financial planning and resource requirements for the function
* Leadership and team management of the platform teams ensuring development and performance management implemented consistently across the function
Required Experience & Skills:
* People management and team leadership in large organisations.
* Proven ability to lead and optimise platform, change management, service management and service introduction teams
* Proven ability to manage large suppliers and vendors in the digital outsourcing and software domains
* Proven ability to operate, enhance and sustain digital platform provisions across the full digital domain
* Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to constructively challenge status quo and help teams overcome barriers to drive results.
* Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, listening and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment among senior stakeholders as well as hands-on teams.
