Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Account Assistant at Slick Gorilla. The Account Assistant will be responsible for invoicing control, finance account management, finance tasks, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions across multiple markets and currencies
Process accounts payable/receivable, manage invoices, and handle payroll
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments and collections
Ensure compliance across international markets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a product or consumer goods environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and international currency standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global setting
