We see a mix of both routine and emergency medical and surgical cases and consistently strive to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients, and our clinical team is instrumental in delivering that ethos.

A typical full-time role would involve working 38 hours per week over a 4-day week, along with our shared weekend rota. You’ll receive time back in lieu for all weekend work.
About us
We are a multisite practice situated in the Midlands. In addition to our main RCVS Tier 3 accredited hospital, we have 8 practice sites - all our sites are accredited by the RCVS under the Practice Standards Scheme. We have a talented and enthusiastic team of 25 Veterinary Surgeons, supported by an exceptional team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants, and Client Care Advisors.

From Derby station, trains run to London approximately every 90 minutes, and main commuter routes to many cities like Manchester, Nottingham, and Birmingham. For car travel, the A6 links Derbyshire to Leicester and Manchester, and the M1 takes you south to London or north to Sheffield and Leeds, making it an ideal location for visiting friends and family. East Midlands airport is just 30 minutes away.
