Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as an Early Help Support Worker with Rochdale Council.
Rochdale Council is looking for a motivated Early Help Support Worker to join our dynamic Early Help and Schools Service (EHASH). If you're passionate about making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children, young people, and their families, then we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Early Help Advisers by researching and managing cases within EHASH.
2. Liaise with families and agencies to ensure effective case action and follow-through.
3. Initiate Early Help Assessments (EHAs) and facilitate support plans.
4. Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to create holistic, outcome-focused support for children and families.
5. Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
What We're Looking For:
1. A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (or willingness to undertake training).
2. Experience working with vulnerable children and families in a multi-disciplinary setting.
3. Strong IT skills and familiarity with case management systems like ICS, ONE, and EHM.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and mediation skills.
Requirements:
Appointment to this post is subject to enhanced DBS and background checks. A valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle are desirable due to the nature of the role.
