What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
* A valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
* Evidence of recent clinical CPD
* Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a supervisory capacity (band 6 equivalent)
* Experience working in a care home setting is preferable, but not essential
A day in the life of a Clinical Lead
As a Clinical Lead, you will ensure outstanding clinical leadership of the team, and high quality care delivery to the care home residents, ensuring the care delivered promotes choice, dignity and individuality whilst meeting clinical governance and compliance targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Liaising with management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and the resident themselves in ensuring the care provision meets their individual requirements and making, and implementing changes in care plans as needs change.
* Conduct clinical audits in line with legislative, regulatory and local policy requirements to ensure continued safe practice.
* Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy.
* Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and taking steps to update nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements.
* Monitoring residents for risks around pressure wounds and any abnormalities regarding toilet output.
* Taking a hands on approach with care delivery.
* Conducting supervisions and other line management responsibilities of nurses and care assistants.
* Participating in, and promoting resident activities.
