An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced pharmacist to take up the role of patient services pharmacist at Queens Hospital Romford. Barking, Havering and Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest acute hospital Trusts in England serving a richly diverse population of over 750,000.
The post holder will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the day-to-day pharmacists’ workload within the dispensary at Queen’s Hospital and supporting the pharmacy department in providing comprehensive, patient-oriented pharmacy services in the dispensary and at ward level throughout Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT). He/she will work closely with senior colleagues and technicians to ensure the provision of an integrated and efficient service.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
* MSc in Clinical Pharmacy
* Formal management training/qualification
Experience/Knowledge
* Comprehensive experience as a clinical pharmacist practitioner, including a solid grounding in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice.
* Change management experience and direct involvement in redesign within a service, including promoting evidence-based practice.
* Prior experience in a similar role as lead pharmacist in a busy Patients Services/dispensary environment.
Skills/Abilities
* Demonstrates advanced level of clinical reasoning and judgement and is able to manage difficult and ambiguous problems.
