Comprehensive training will be given. Candidates must be willing to work towards an NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care.
You must be caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
Duties include promoting independence in service users homes and may include aspects of personal care e.g. washing, bathing. Some service users may present challenging behaviours for which an agreed programme of PMVA (prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression) may be in place, full training will be given.
An enhanced DBS is required, initial costs will be met by the employer and claimed back in deduction of wages.
What we offer:
Hourly rate - £11.45 - £11.60
Sleep in rate - £95
Hourly rate for bank holidays £15.50
6 weeks paid holiday per year (pro rata) inclusive of bank holidays.
Company health scheme (upon completion of 6 month probationary period).

Successful candidates will be required to work some of the following: weekends; evenings; bank holidays; sleep ins and possibly waking nights.
