Business Development Manager – Renewables, Plumbing & Heating

About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will lead our commercial and domestic growth strategy across plumbing, heating, and renewable energy sectors. You’ll work closely with our internal teams and external partners to unlock new opportunities, drive project delivery, and enhance client satisfaction — while contributing to a greener future.
This role offers variety, autonomy, and progression – perfect for someone with a sharp commercial mindset and a solid technical foundation in heating solutions.

What You’ll Bring
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Development (ideally within renewables/plumbing/heating)
* 5+ years' experience in Domestic & Commercial Installations, Gas & Heating/Ventilation systems
* Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Air Source & Ground Source Heat Pumps
* A Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
* Strong commercial acumen, confident in presentations and negotiation
* Technical expertise to oversee project quality and timelines
* Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* A collaborative, solutions-first mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
* Drive client relationships and manage key accounts
* Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to deliver seamless service
* Ensure all projects meet high standards of safety, quality, and customer care
* Prepare and present detailed technical proposals to clients
* Track and report on pipeline activity through the CRM system
* Support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
