We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Process Owner to join our Process Engineering team and is the company’s electrical duty holder. The role ensures the business’ compliance with BS7671, the latest edition and all other relevant regulations and standards.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Working with design to develop new electrical concepts, designing electrical solutions for new products or changes in standards and guidance.
2. Working with operations, ensuring designs are fit for manufacture and that processes are capable.
3. Investigating non-compliances and safety critical incidents, identifying root causes, recommending solutions, and implementing containment and counter measures.
4. Maintaining the business’ membership of NICEIC.
5. Mentoring and developing production electricians and apprentices.
Job Requirements
You will be able to demonstrate:
1. A minimum of a NVQ Level 4 Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Level 5 preferable.
2. Practical work experience in a relevant industry.
3. Good knowledge of Health & Safety Standards.
You must be eligible to work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.
