Job Overview
Ward A5 at Wythenshawe Hospital of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced or newly qualified Registered Nurse to join our team. Ward A5 is an orthopaedic ward that cares for both elective and trauma patients.
We are seeking proactive, forward-thinking Nurses who have patient care and experience at their heart. You will possess adept communication skills, be motivated, and eager to embrace variety in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate, and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.
