Stannah is looking to recruit a Trainee Lift Engineer to work with our Bristol Branch.
As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will be closely supported and mentored by our qualified Lift Engineers allowing you to gain the skills and experience that you need to succeed in your career and become a qualified Lift Engineer with an NVQ in Lift Engineering.
On a day-to-day basis, you will shadow and assist our Lift Engineers by attending service, refurbishment and repair jobs on a variety of passenger and goods-carrying lifts.
This position is based from our Bristol Service Branch.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about engineering and has some practical mechanical or electrical experience or a keen interest.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with minor and major repairs, both reactive and preventative,
* Assist engineers on maintenance and call-out visits to all types of lifts
* Be committed to ongoing training and development
Requirements:
* Previous experience or a keen interest in electrical or mechanical work experience
