Clinisupplies is a leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of medical appliances specialising in continence products for managing acute and chronic conditions. Role Summary
The successful candidate will be joining a fast-growing organisation. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure incoming and outgoing deliveries are managed to the highest standard and in line with procedures, processes, and health and safety standards. The role is working 38.75 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
The following provides an indication of the key responsibilities involved in this role but is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties that you may be required to do.
1. Deep understanding of the operation and all the daily processes needed to operate successfully.
2. Support the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
3. Lead a team of warehouse operatives in achieving business targets.
4. Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met.
5. Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely.
6. Maintain a thorough check of all dispatches and documentation of all Clinisupplies products.
7. Maintain a regular cycle count of all stored Clinisupplies products including date of expiry.
8. Understand working in a safe and controlled manner and adhere to health and safety standards and policies.
9. Unload and load deliveries.
10. Ensure that documentation is filed in accordance with normal stores practice.
11. Where applicable, be familiar with the operation of the forklift truck.
12. Maintain the stores areas so they are always kept clean.
13. Check in all incoming goods received.
14. Pick and pack a large daily number of orders.
15. Maintain stock to desired levels.
16. Deliver goods to designated depots as and when requested.
Experience Required:
1. Experience of working within a warehouse team leader role.
2. Ability to develop and manage relationships internally and externally.
3. Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
4. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
5. Well organized.
6. High attention to detail and quality of work.
7. Previous experience of working within a medical or healthcare industry.
8. SAP.
