We’re working on behalf of a fast-growing innovator in the safety-critical technology sector, searching for a commercially driven, strategic leader to spearhead market expansion across Europe.
This high-performance engineering firm has grown revenue by 50% over the past three years, and now aims to achieve a further 40% uplift across new commercial markets. As Strategic Market Development Lead, you’ll own and shape go-to-market strategies across a diverse and dynamic European landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead strategic assessments and develop entry plans for untapped European markets
* Create and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to fragmented regions
* Manage a hybrid model of direct and distributor sales
* Drive revenue via project-based sales cycles and long-term client relationships
* Translate market opportunities into actionable commercial outcomes
* Strong background in solution-led B2B sales within premium, technical sectors
* Experience with complex, high-value manufactured products
* Proven ability to work independently and meet ambitious commercial targets
* Deep understanding of European markets—commercially, culturally, and regulatorily
* Multilingual skills are advantageous but not essential
What’s on Offer:
* Base salary of £50,000
* Performance bonus: 25–30%
* New business bonus of up to £10,000
