Joining us as an Assistant Product Development Manager, you will be part of an innovative team responsible for the launch of some of the best frozen meals that all supermarkets across Europe have to offer.
Responsibilities:
* Technical project management of NPD & EPD projects in accordance with the agreed procedures to ensure successful and timely delivery of the projects.
* Good knowledge of key ingredients, supply chains & manufacturing processes through conducting trials & regular contact with suppliers, procurement & SUs.
* Provide accurate technical data throughout allocated projects as well as support business reporting and consumer services.
* Build & maintain strong relationships with colleagues in R&D & other functions (MU’s, SU’s, TQS, Procurement & the Category Marketing).
* Maintain a constant awareness of competitor activity.
About you…
We’re looking for an Assistant Product Development Manager who has experience working within a factory site and is eager to get involved in the creation and development of new products. In addition, you will support the Cluster team by leading projects and technical workstreams. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to develop products and manage RDQ projects from design through to launch (depending on product category). This person plays a leading role in specifications and artwork for the Cluster/MU across all product categories (cluster and central).
* Relevant Science Degree with 1+ years experience working in an FMCG food business.
* Experience in specification writing and legal labelling.
* English speaking including technical language.
* Full driving licence (travel required).
* Experience working with a pan-European team or in the frozen food sector is a benefit.
