About the role
Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a NRSWA Coordinator to work on our Thames Water Smart Metering contract based in Langley.
As a NRSWA Coordinator, you will be part of our Planning department who are responsible for the planning and scheduling of all external dig works.
As a NRSWA Coordinator your roles and responsibilities will be:
- Promote and ensure that you display the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards and comply with all statutory, Thames Water and Morrison Water Services standards, policies, procedures, guidance and initiatives.
- Ensure any risks are notified to your team leader/Manager.
- Plan in accordance with NCT, LoPS, TMA and Street Works compliance and associated functions.
- Ensure regulation is adhered to in accordance with legislation and the 2004 Traffic Management act. Ensure WIP is managed effectively.
- Work on geographical routing, prioritisation and an awareness of resource vs capacity.
- Take responsibility for maintaining lines of communication between all stakeholders, primarily HA’s, client, and Operations.
- Ensure the quick resolution of customer queries/job investigations and resolutions. Carry out daily/weekly ad-hoc duties.
- Focus on minimising waste and any financial impact associated to aborts due to planning errors.
- Awareness to commercial cost associated to not planning geographically. Minimise Streetworks fines by following and understanding HA requirements/legislation.
- Learn and adapt to changing HA/environment requirements thus promoting efficiencies and minimising failures.
The Key Requirements
Do you have a detailed working knowledge of NRSWA, noticing and utility works planning? This is essential for this role.
Are you adaptable to learning new IT systems and MS software awareness?
Are you experienced in customer complaints/escalation handling within the utility sector?
Can you investigate, analyse and solve problems in a prompt fashion?
