Are you a recent UK based university graduate with experience working with children, and have a desire to utilise your experience in a full-time, school-based Learning Mentor role in Birmingham for the academic year ?
We are currently working with a superb primary school based in the heart of Birmingham, who are eager to add a hard-working, dependable and naturally outgoing Learning Mentor to their KS1 SEN department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.
In this role as a Learning Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group support to children with complex learning difficulties following a structured Education Health Care Plan.

Learning Mentor – Role Information:
1. Learning Mentor
2. Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to children in KS1
3. Focusing support sessions around carefully structured EHCP
4. Working both as an individual and as part of a team
5. Located in Birmingham (B5 area)
6. Monday to Friday role – September 2024 to July 2025
7. Paid £440 per week during term time
8. Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Learning Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
10. Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
11. Prior experience working with young children
12. Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
13. Excellent organisation and communication skills
14. Ability to support children with SEN needs
