Role Description
* Ensuring all starters and leavers are entered on payroll system.
* Managing performance of current employees.
* Absence management reporting.
* Generating reports and data to quantify performance and skills.
* Developing and implementing new processes to improve the workplace environment.
* Assisting with employee disciplinaries and grievances.
* Providing orientation and onboarding for new employees.
* Sitting on company committees to provide feedback and suggest resource improvements.
* Mentoring managers to enhance their people management skills.
* Overseeing compliance requirements.
* Updating policies, procedures, and staff handbook.
* Ensuring completion of new starter inductions.
* Following up on performance concerns and disciplinary actions.
* Processing payroll monthly and handling payroll queries.
* Managing bonus and pay increase budgets.
Skills and Qualifications
* Sensitivity in handling confidential issues.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Experience with benefits, employee resources, and employment laws and regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills to guide and assist employees and managers.
* Experience within a manufacturing environment.
