Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking a HSQE Advisor to join our client’s growing engineering services business, supporting projects across Datacoms, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering within retail and mainstream construction environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in ensuring Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance across all operations.
As HSQE Advisor, you will provide vital support and guidance on all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental issues within the business. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance, conducting audits, and assisting in reporting, investigations, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain HSQE documentation, including ISO management and RAMS.
2. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
3. Assist in reporting, accident investigations, and incident management.
4. Manage new starter and subcontractor inductions.
5. Support welfare measures, monitoring engineer working hours and reports.
6. Develop and deliver HSQE training materials and courses.
7. Ensure statutory training compliance and track colleague progress.
8. Assist Line Managers with training and development needs.
9. Ensure all equipment is compliant and safe for use.
10. Foster a culture of safety and compliance across the business.
Requirements:
1. NEBOSH or IOSH qualified (TechIOSH preferred).
2. Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
3. Strong administration skills with attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
5. Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
