School Office Receptionist

Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Dur is seeking a School Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our
school. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting students,
parents, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor. You will handle phone inquiries,
direct calls to the appropriate departments, and provide essential information to those who need
it. Additionally, you will be assisting with attendance records, handling student check-ins and check-outs, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the school
office.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask
and stay organised in a busy environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel,
and Outlook, is desired but not essential along with experience handling office equipment. While
previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role—especially in a school setting—is
preferred, we welcome applications from candidates with a positive, professional, and
approachable attitude.
