Salary: £37,548 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: · You must first successfully pass the Weapons System Support Rig training program, this consists of learning the set up and operation of a simulated Typhoon avionics suite situated in a test facility · Conducting Weapons System Support Rig On the Job Training to the RAF Customer daily once trained. Essentially teaching them to turn on and operate the Typhoon avionics suite and its support equipment · Liaising with the BAE Systems WSSR Support Team on a daily basis to co-or ordinate training · Working with the RAF Customer to capture and satisfy training requirements · Producing Defence System Approach to Training compliant Training documentation · Supporting training reviews and consulting with the BAE Warton Training and Support Teams · Consulting with the BAE Systems System Matter Experts to gather technical information to generate training material Your skills and experience: • Professional approach to all aspects of interaction with the BAE Systems and the customer from training delivery to requirement meetings • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing test environment where a flexible approach is often required • An understanding of Avionics, Subsystems and Equipment • Must have good recall and practical ability to learn new tasks that they will then go on to demonstrate and teaching • Experience with designing and developing training material. The Weapons System Support Rig team: An exciting opportunity exists to join a new Typhoon Support Centre Training Team within Test Solutions at RAF Coningsby. The team will be responsible for developing and delivering training to both the BAE Systems maintainers and the RAF operators of the RAF Weapons System Support Rig (WSSR) on base at RAF Coningsby, the WSSR Simulates the Aircraft and outside world/environment and is used for a variety of pre and post flight.
