Responsibilities
* Assessments: Conduct assessments to determine the needs of individuals involved in court cases.
* Intervention Plans: Develop and implement intervention plans to address these needs.
* Counselling and Support: Provide counselling and support to individuals and families involved in the court system.
* Monitoring Progress: Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals in court-ordered programs.
* Referrals: Provide referrals to community resources and services.
* Court Reports: Prepare and present reports to the court, including social histories and recommendations.
* Collaboration: Work closely with legal professionals, including judges, attorneys, and probation officers, to ensure fair and just outcomes.
Requirements
* Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) is typically required.
* Licensure: Must be licensed to practice social work in the relevant jurisdiction.(SWE Registered)
* Skills: Strong assessment, counselling, and communication skills are essential.
