The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that cater to the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
* Work closely with SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and parents to develop and implement EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
* Assess and track student progress, ensuring each child receives the necessary support to achieve their goals.
* Contribute to the wider school community, engaging in professional development and collaborative initiatives.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of different learning needs and adaptive teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching.
