Main duties of the job As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Materials Management service. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of consumables to wards and departments. Key tasks include putting away stock, rotating supplies to maintain freshness, reconciling delivery notes, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with clinical staff, suppliers, and the procurement team to meet department needs, ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards, and resolve supply issues swiftly. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
