Sports Learning Support Worker
Bootle, Merseyside
Pay: £12.90 to £14.61 per hour
Teaching Personnel are working with a vibrant primary school in Bootle that is dedicated to supporting young students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional learning requirements. We are seeking enthusiastic, sports-oriented individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners and looking to develop their skills in an educational setting. Prior experience with special needs—whether personal or professional—is highly valued and will support you in adapting quickly to this rewarding role.
This primary school serves students aged 4 to 11, so building positive, nurturing relationships with both pupils and colleagues is essential. A background in sports or physical activities will be a valuable asset, helping to engage students in active, hands-on learning. Familiarity with the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum would be beneficial but is not required.
Key Responsibilities as a Learning Support Worker:
* Helping students stay focused, engaged, and fully involved in classroom and sporting activities
* Implementing strategies to support positive behavior and manage challenges effectively
* Participating in training sessions and relevant courses to expand your skill set
Additional Information:
* January 2025 start date
* Flexible hours between Monday to Friday
* Weekly pay via PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
