Key Responsibilities:
* Employee Lifecycle:
Guide the onboarding process, liaise with departments for smooth equipment setup, and manage offboarding with exit interviews to improve retention.
* Recruitment & Onboarding:
Develop a recruitment strategy to attract top talent, manage the end-to-end hiring process, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
* Legal & Compliance:
Oversee HR legalities, including contracts, data protection, and employment law. Ensure compliance with audits and best practices.
* Talent Management & Development:
Retain top performers, implement career growth strategies, and design tailored learning programs to upskill and inspire our team.
* Policies & Procedures:
Create and enforce HR policies, ensuring legal compliance while reflecting our company values. Maintain the employee handbook and ensure seamless processes for both permanent and freelance teams.
* Team Performance:
Lead performance reviews and check-ins, working with managers to define KPIs and foster staff development.
* Employee Engagement & Communication:
Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement, manage internal communications, and enhance the workplace culture.
* Strategy & Growth:
Advise on organisational structure, align HR initiatives with business goals, and contribute to the company’s strategic direction. Manage budgets related to staffing, benefits, and HR activities.
* Day-to-Day Administration:
Oversee the HR platform, monitor absences, and use HR data to make informed decisions that enhance team performance and operational efficiency. Ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
What You Bring:
* Experience: Proven track record in an HR role, ideally within a creative or fast-paced environment (events, music, entertainment, hospitality, etc.).
* HR Expertise: Solid understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
* Problem-Solving: Resourceful, adaptable, and solution-oriented when handling challenges.
* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities and clear communication, capable of building relationships and navigating any situation with ease.
