Bookkeeper Annual Salary: £28,000-£32,000 Per Annum Location: Badwell Green, IP31 Job Type: Full-time (08:30-17:00 with flexitime availability) Join our client’s team as a bookkeeper, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records with accuracy and integrity. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong bookkeeping skills, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Day-to-day of the role: Recording Financial Transactions: Keep accurate records of all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Maintaining General Ledgers: Ensure that the general ledger is up-to-date and accurate. Reconciling Accounts: Regularly reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy. Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle invoices, payments, and collections efficiently. Preparing Financial Reports: Generate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Processing Payroll: Manage payroll processes, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and ensuring timely payments. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Assisting with Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support during financial audits. Communicating with Stakeholders: Liaise with accountants, managers, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and updates. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in using Sage for financial management. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Strong administration and bookkeeping skills.
