Position Overview: Finatal is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology strategy and infrastructure, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with business operations. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing the IT department, managing IT systems and security, driving innovation, and ensuring the effective use of technology across all areas of the business. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, an ability to manage complex projects, and a passion for staying ahead of technological trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership:
* Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy to support business goals.
* Lead the IT department in driving technological innovation and efficiency across the organization.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT objectives with business needs.
* Oversee and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Infrastructure Management:
* Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the company’s IT infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud.
* Manage and improve internal systems, including ERP, CRM, and other key business applications.
* Lead the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and industry best practices.
E-Commerce & Digital Solutions:
* Drive the IT strategy for the company’s digital platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to support digital initiatives, including website optimization, customer experience, and data analytics.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
* Ensure the security of company data, networks, and systems against cyber threats.
* Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and disaster recovery plans.
* Monitor and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Project Management:
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key IT projects on time and within budget.
* Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services, software, and hardware procurement.
* Monitor the performance and quality of external service providers and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Budget & Resource Management:
* Manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective solutions.
* Monitor IT expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality service.
Qualifications:
Experience:
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT management or a senior IT role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
* Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital platforms, and enterprise software solutions.
* Strong background in project management, with a history of delivering large-scale IT initiatives.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Expertise in IT systems architecture, cloud computing, and data security.
* Experience with digital platforms and integration with back-end systems.
* Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory standards related to IT operations.
Preferred:
* Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
* Certifications in IT management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
