THE ROLE
The Principal Project Officer will lead a range of critical projects and initiatives that will support the ongoing development and quality of specialist programs for victim survivors of family violence. A key focus of the Principal Project Officer will be to lead a program of work focused on improving outcomes for all victim survivors of family violence, support and mentor the team, and contribute to strategic projects that will support the implementation of government policy, including a focus on responding to the safety of children and young people as victim survivors in their own right.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
1. Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
2. Leading research, analysis, and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
3. Managing and overseeing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters.
4. Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
