As our Brand Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Central Remerchandising Team in their roles as Brand Captain. A key part of this role is to help assist the Brand Captains to develop new relationships and deepen existing relationships with our Brand Partners globally. In particular, this role specifically focuses on bringing ‘newness’ for the Collection from a Global perspective, which is a primary objective of the Business and one that the Brand Manager should be focusing on. Ultimately, the Brand Manager must have a passion for retail, excellent brand awareness, and strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
This role is hybrid and you will be required to work onsite at Bicester Village a minimum of 2 days a week.
What you will be doing:
The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all of the following:
* Day-to-day tracking of all brand relationships including status, next steps, and follow-up using the relevant trackers for each Brand Captain.
* Initial drafting and posting of all brand B2Bs on behalf of Brand Captains ensuring tracked follow-up and re-connection with the brand (even if 'lovely to meet you') within 24 hours of the call or meeting.
* Delivering brands across the Collection (not just BV) and working closely with the Village teams.
* Assisting in the negotiation of group remerchandising deals and helping track progress until completion.
* Formulating compelling supporting evidence to present to Villages on the merits of considering a specific brand for their Village.
