The Role As a result of ambitious agency growth plans, we are actively seeking an exceptional Group Account Director to join our specialist Leisure & Lifestyle hub where we service a broad range of global and national names, like Diageo, Nivea, and Marston's Pubs & Bars - primarily across the hospitality, retail, food, drink, and leisure sectors, with creative solutions to real business challenges using the full marketing mix. Reporting to the hub Director, you will be leading a team of experienced client services professionals to deliver powerhouse new business pitches, inspiring proposals, and ultimately a seamless agency service that exceeds expectations, as well as being more hands-on with some of our key accounts, Britvic and Accolade Wines, with the ambition for the role to grow quickly within the next five years. What You'll Be Doing Leading, inspiring, and nurturing a high performing client services team from Senior Account Directors through to Account Executives, which collectively manage just under half the hub’s total budget Strengthening client relationships at the highest level, understanding their current and future business plans and marketing challenges, identifying, and selling our services against our end-to-end capabilities Partnering with the hub Director to build profitable and achievable account plans that deliver year on year growth, the highest client satisfaction and account retention Taking an active role on new business and tender opportunities, working closely with our Head of Sales & Marketing on pitches and proposals On key strategic accounts, acting as the main client contact, managing day-to-day activity from proposals through to successful campaign and project delivery, along with robust budget monitoring Continuously monitoring the progress of campaign performance to provide accurate ROI analysis which demonstrates strategic value and operational success Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team and agency, spotting opportunities to work more efficiently, effectively and creatively What We're Looking For A confident, passionate, and engaging individual with a can-do attitude, someone who brings the ‘agency factor’ and who our client will find inspiring and convincing.
