As a Creative Designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth. Your mission will be to transform ideas into visually compelling presentations that captivate external audiences. Collaborating closely with our live events team, you’ll use your creative expertise to bring concepts to life and make a lasting impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design Excellence: Craft engaging pitch decks and presentations that combine compelling visuals with clear messaging.
2. Visual Storytelling: Translate raw content into powerful visuals that effectively communicate ideas.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the live events and marketing teams to meet tight deadlines and address feedback swiftly.
4. Agility: Adapt quickly to multiple creative directions, last-minute changes, and high-pressure situations.
5. Project Management: Handle multiple projects and expectations simultaneously, ensuring direct and professional communication with key stakeholders.
6. PowerPoint Mastery: Demonstrate expert-level skills in PowerPoint, including advanced use of masters, colour themes, animations, actions, video integration, and template creation.
7. Template Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain style guides and templates for both new and existing presentations.
8. Pitch Collaboration: Partner with the live events pitching team to visually bring event concepts to life, maximising the potential for winning new and repeat business.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
1. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro).
2. Creativity: Proactive in generating fresh ideas and innovative solutions.
3. Industry Insight: A solid understanding of the events industry.
4. Problem-Solving: Able to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
5. Organisation: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
6. Teamwork: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
7. Adaptability: Receptive to feedback and skilled in aligning design with storytelling objectives.
8. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
