Outreach Support Worker - Bank
Location: Brighouse, Halifax and Bradford area
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am – 4 pm
The position may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure comprehensive care coverage.
Full driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
Here at CJP Outreach services we support a number of amazing individuals, who all live life to the full and who require care and support to access the community and to fulfil their lives. We support a range of people and working for CJP you will be supporting both Adults and Children in the community.
You will find that no two days are the same, one day you may be supporting someone to access the community, the next day you could be supporting someone to work, and then to various activities like sporting events, day trips, going to the park and much more.
To maintain the high standards we provide to meet the outcomes of the people we are entrusted to support we require skilled professionals who go the extra mile and possess the following experience:
* personalised care, management of epilepsy, addressing challenging behaviours with empathy, assisting with mobility challenges, adapting communication methods for visual impairment, and fostering emotional well-being.
* Work closely with the individual and their support network to tailor care to their specific needs.
* Experience in healthcare, understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviours, as well as a compassionate approach to care are all desired. Use own initiative whilst lone working in the community.
