The Technical Project Manager will come into the Delivery team at a time of exciting change. With the chance to really impact the future of our business globally through owning delivery of priority projects as part of our strategic business plan.
A key part of the role is to work proactively with the key business stakeholders as an advocate of change, challenging the status quo and driving efficiencies through improved processes whilst bringing the various teams (internal and external) with you. You and the teams are expected to deliver with speed and accuracy the enhancements and projects to specification, within the constraints of time and costs. Ensuring the delivery of planned benefits whilst actively managing the expectations of the business.
Covering all FitFlop existing systems including omni-channel (B2C & B2B) & ERP, the Project Manager will build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, whilst ensuring they have the gravitas and technical expertise to get buy-in at all levels of the business. You’ll drive project initiations in order to deliver projects effectively. Your expert skills and experience will catapult the delivery of new, innovative solutions as part of the global Digital roadmap.
The Responsibilities:
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
* Co-ordinate input from all project members including third party suppliers to ensure successful delivery
* Conduct lessons learnt and plan future optimisation phases
* Maintain suite of project documentation templates (Gantt chart, Risks and Issues Register, Deployment Readiness Assessment)
* Produce weekly status reports for each project
* Schedule all project meetings with internal stakeholders and third parties
* Gather and publish meeting agenda in advance of meetings
* Provide expertise on delivery times, milestones and dependencies for all projects
* Promote Agile practice within project delivery function
* Attend daily stand-ups, capturing action points and blockers
* Document and escalate issues jeopardising timely project delivery/milestone achievement to the Director of Digital Technology
* Collaborate with the BA and development teams to highlight changes to project scope
* Schedule and run project wrap-up meetings

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Must have exceptional communication, organization, and team building skills; articulate and able to steer a meeting with presence
* Ecommerce project management experience, either within an agency, systems integration consultancy or within an online/digital department of an established retailer
* Understanding of Hybris capabilities to support discussions with team and business
* Some experience of Hybris or similar ecommerce platform implementations
* Sound understanding of the ecommerce landscape including ecommerce platforms
* Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
