Job Opportunity: Staff Officer – Communications
Location: Ballykelly, Limavady BT49
Pay: £17.94 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (37 hours per week)
Duration: 51 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duties:
* Assist with the development and delivery of communication plans (staff & stakeholder), consulting with, and providing updates to Rural Affairs Division (RAD) Management.
* Support branches with the development and delivery of specific scheme/programme communication plans, liaising with relevant branches across the Department to ascertain best practices, and utilising alternative communication methods.
* Provide secretariat arrangements for staff and stakeholder forums.
* Support RAD Management in the delivery of the RAD Staff Engagement Plan.
Main Duties:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a communications strategy within RAD.
* Write engaging content for a range of internal and external communication channels.
* Build relationships and provide communications advice and support across teams.
* Meeting secretariat duties.
Desired Experience:
* A qualification or experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
Essential Criteria:
* Skilled in use of MS Suite products and video-conferencing software.
* Digital and technical know-how, with a good basic understanding of digital channels and communication tools and how they operate.
* Project/campaign management – experience of liaising with different departments/delivery leads to ensure work is delivered on time to a high standard.
* 5 GCSEs including Maths & English Grade A-C (or level 2 equivalent)
* 2 A-Levels Grade D or higher
* Degree Qualification
* Basic Access NI Check
