We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Psychologist to work across two of our rehabilitation settings for individuals with long term and complex mental health needs. The individual will work across both an all male High Dependency unit (Acacia Unit, Park House) and an all-male Community Rehabilitation unit (Anson Road).The role involves supporting individuals with a broad range of mental and physical health needs. It is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in a career in Psychology to gain a broad range of skills and experiences within two recovery-focused settings.
The post is full time with working hours split equally across the two settings. You will receive support and supervision from a Qualified Psychologist and will have the opportunity to engage in regular peer supervision with the other Assistant Psychologists in the Division.
The successful person will work as part of two established multi-disciplinary teams. They will be required to undertake a range of activities under the guidance and supervision of qualified Psychologist. These include assessments, direct clinical work (including individual, family and group work), report writing, attending meetings, assisting in projects and data collection.
