KS1 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development. Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love for learning. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring progress for every student. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistent, high-quality teaching. Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on their child’s progress. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide activities as required. KS1 Teacher Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in KS1, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum. Passion for high-quality teaching and fostering a love of learning in young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. A team-oriented approach and commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
