As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical project delivery for a large-scale commercial development. You will manage electrical installation, resource allocation, budgeting, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from initial planning and design through to installation and commissioning.
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient working processes.
* Budget & Resource Management: Develop project budgets, manage costs, track expenses, and ensure resource allocation is in line with project requirements.
* Health & Safety: Ensure all work is conducted in line with health, safety, and quality standards, with a strong focus on risk management and compliance.
* Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are met and providing regular progress updates.
* Schedule Management: Prepare and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
* Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, maintaining project timelines and cost control.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Valid ECS / CSCS card
* SMSTS or equivalent Health and Safety certification.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the commercial sector (minimum of 5 years).
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
* Familiarity with project management tools and software.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
