The Role: We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join this incredible team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide individual support for students with a range of SEN needs, ensuring that they can fully engage in the learning experience. You will play a crucial role in helping students develop both academically and socially, offering a nurturing and encouraging presence in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities for students with SEN. Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with varying degrees of learning difficulties. Support students with personal care, mobility, and any other specific needs they may have. Encourage and promote social interaction and inclusion within the classroom and school environment. Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources. Monitor students’ progress and behavior, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents when required. Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students. Requirements: Previous experience is NOT essential, training and guidence will be given. A genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals.
