We have big ambitions and are never afraid to give it some welly Step into the role of Packaging and Trims Coordinator What to expect from a day to day perspective: Support with sourcing packaging and trims to hit the brand image. Resolving artwork/packaging queries and providing support to buyers to deliver within agreed timelines. Assure adherence of packaging products to predefined requirements and specification. Supplier management: Work closely with suppliers to identify packaging solutions and recognise opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality standards. Costing/Lead Time negotiation; Cost up new packaging and repeat orders. Carry out cost analysis and negotiation where necessary to achieve targets/cost reduction opportunities Trims and Packaging development starting from sampling, approval (colour, artwork and quality), place POs and see through to delivery. Liaising with design/buyer on new development to ensure accurate, timely and cost effective development of new branding. Support on seeking out and researching new sustainable and innovative packaging. Coordination and planned packaging stock management. Work cross functionally with designers, buyers, creative service team, marketing, retailing and showroom, suppliers. Facilitating seamless project delivery aligned with key business objectives. Leading all packaging projects. Provide weekly Packaging Inventory updates. Managing item forecasting and delivery of the items to the required items to the correct location to facilitate bulk production. Experience in a similar role working with packaging and trims. A key part of this role is collaborative working, it would therefore be essential that you’re a team player. A Fashion Technology qualification or equivalent experience. The ability to work at pace and the confidence to handle a number of tasks and deadlines at once. You should have an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic nature with the ability to adapt and work collaboratively with our close knit team. A genuine excitement about the brand is a must (although we don’t think this is too difficult). Able to work cross-functionally and build strong rapport and relationships across the wider teams. Understanding of commercial acumen, our customer and market positioning. A genuine sense of resourcefulness and the ability and drive to make the role your own. Location: This is a full time role based at our Market Harborough Head Office in Leicestershire and you will need to be able to be present in the office 5 days per week.
