Are you passionate about design and technology? We’re seeking a talented Resistant Materials Teacher to join our school in Hereford, starting January 2025. This role will give you the opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 students, with the potential to extend your teaching to KS5, in the exciting field of resistant materials and product design. Key Responsibilities: Teach Resistant Materials to KS3 and KS4 students, helping them to develop design and technical skills. Inspire KS5 students with advanced projects that combine theory and practical application. Assess and provide feedback on student progress in Resistant Materials, helping them to refine their design ideas. Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve and innovate the Resistant Materials curriculum. Foster a passion for design and problem-solving in students, encouraging them to think creatively and analytically. Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and design methods to incorporate into your lessons. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Resistant Materials at the secondary level. A passion for inspiring students in design and technology.
