The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team is looking for a Maths and English Tutor to plan, deliver, and assess Functional Skills and GCSE lessons. Adopt inclusive strategies for all learners. Manage learner behaviour and create a positive environment. Assess work and provide diagnostic feedback. Track and monitor learner progress. Identify and intervene with underachieving learners. Collaborate on resources and pedagogy. Deliver teaching across various centres. About You: Resilient, creative, and flexible. High professional standards and ongoing CPD. Ability to manage time and workload effectively. Skills Required: Experience teaching Functional Skills and GCSE. Experience in planning and assessing for progress. Relevant qualifications. Ability to motivate and engage learners. Collaboration skills with colleagues and stakeholders. Commitment to improving learners' prospects. Experience with ‘hard to reach’ learners. Willingness to travel and work flexibly.
