We are seeking a highly motivated Science Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team in Halifax from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them develop a strong understanding and passion for Science.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4
* Promote a deep understanding of scientific concepts and foster curiosity among students
* Support students in achieving their potential through differentiated learning strategies
* Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for inquiry-based learning
* Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, respectful learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess, and track student progress
* Participate in school-wide events, activities, and professional development opportunities
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A strong background in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or General Science)
* Previous teaching experience (KS3 and/or KS4)
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A passion for teaching and inspiring students to excel in Science
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
