Finatal is partnering with a PE-backed manufacturing business based in South Wales. The company currently has a turnover of £40m with an EBITDA of £6m and is highly ambitious, with plans for future growth. This role will report directly to the local CEO and will work closely with senior executives and other departments. The Divisional Finance Director will also play a key role in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to support the business's growth.
Experience in the aviation, industrial, or manufacturing sectors would be beneficial, as would experience working in a private equity or leveraged business. This is an exciting, hands-on role within a high-growth division of a PE-backed global business. It would suit an energetic, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual eager to develop and progress their career in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide financial leadership and high-quality reporting, as well as financial oversight for operations in various countries and any future locations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the maintenance of required controls and governance across the organisation
· Manage and develop the finance team
· Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting
· Oversee treasury management
· Prepare and manage PE reporting
· Provide commercial and project oversight
· Manage ad hoc projects as required
· Support the executive and senior leadership teams (SLT)
· Attend operational and commercial meetings to ensure that targets are understood and met for the month, quarter, and year
· Continuously monitor daily revenue against targets, and conduct gap reviews, alongside monitoring operational costs and overheads
Key Requirements:
· ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified
· Experience as a multisite FD, managing and consolidating multiple entities
· Strong expertise in financial planning, cash management, and reporting
· Proven experience in treasury management
· Experience in leading audits and reviewing tax and statutory returns
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience with foreign exchange (ForEx) and cross-border transactions
· Experience working with a US parent company
· Background in aviation, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
· Experience in a PE-backed or leveraged company
· Experience in finance software implementation or migration
