£11.90ph, 18 hours - 2 days a week with some flexibility
At Pets, our aim is to give the nation’s pets what they need to be at their ball-chasing, tail-wagging best. Because we will not rest until every spaniel has a squeezy toy. Every calico has a cat tree. Every rabbit has a run. We are motivated to find the best talent in the Logistics & Distribution industry. Right now, we are looking for a Pet Delivery Driver to join our Pet Delivery Team in the Northamptonshire area.
The Role
As a Pet Delivery Driver, you need to be flexible both in terms of duties and in hours of work and wish to work with the Pet Delivery team delivering pets into stores.

The shifts have potential to be flexible. There is an opportunity for overtime (up to 48 days), covering other team members, but this is not contractual.
What you will bring
* Have previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle – ideally box van.
* Methodically and meticulously follow a set of processes which are safety and animal welfare centric.
* You will be a careful and considerate driver who is willing to go the extra mile both on and off the roads.
* Conducting driver checks before you start the engine.
* Driving and delivering with care and with animal welfare at the forefront, and always legal and safely, making sure our reputation for excellence includes animal welfare transportation.
* Use of phone apps to complete process checks.
* Demonstrate an understanding of customer support and satisfaction.
* Previous or current owner or comfortable with close contact with small animals.
* Full, clean driving licence is preferable.
* Flexible to do a variety of work.
* You will be naturally friendly, helpful and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results.
What you will get in return
* Attractive rates of pay.
* Annual Leave (including Bank holidays), with an increase after 2 years of continuous service.
* An extra day’s holiday when it is your birthday.
* Personal Health Insurance scheme (if in Pension Scheme).
* Life assurance.
* 20% Pets at Home discount scheme after 12 weeks of service.
* Pets’ “Treats” voluntary benefits package.

“Pets just see people. They are not biased, and they do not discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience do not perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!”
