First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Purchasing and Supplies Technician on behalf of one of our clients.
The role will provide support to the Purchasing & Supplies function through delivering supplies, working in stores, supporting health & safety, fleet management and waste collections.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Obtain quotes for goods and services.
2. Raise purchase orders from requisitions.
3. Maintain levels of stock in the stores.
4. Support the Purchasing and Supplies Coordinator in their day to day activities.
5. Provide a stores counter service.
6. Manage the provision of PPE.
Skills and Qualifications:
7. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be customer facing, computer literate and have the ability to work within a larger team to achieve service goals.
8. Experience of working in a trade, purchasing, stores or building retail environment is essential.
9. Own transport would be advantageous due to the location of the role.
