Junior Commercial Analyst Bolton/Hybrid - 3 Days Work From Home Salary £30,000-£40,000 Dependant on Experience 35 Hours per Week About The Role We are looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team, reporting to one of our Commercial Business Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with at least one year of experience in a similar analyst role to develop their skills in a commercially focused environment. As a Junior Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business performance by providing insightful data analysis, maintaining reporting accuracy, and assisting with strategic decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to optimising marketing, sales, and operational efficiencies. What You Can Expect to Be Doing • Data Reporting & Insights – Updating and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports with analysis and recommendations for performance improvements • Ad Hoc Analysis – Supporting Team Managers, Department Managers, and Heads of Marketing with data- driven insights on channel performance, cost-benefit evaluations, and risk identification in daily trading • Performance Reviews – Assessing the financial and business impact of key actions, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders • Data Integrity – Working with IT to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reported data A Few Things About You • A graduate in a relevant subject, with at least one year of experience in an analytical role • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and Excel • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights A Bit About Us We’re the UK’s Favourite Energy Retailer helping businesses and households make savings on their utilities.
