This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Sport and Leisure Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £12.18 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Sport and Leisure Services are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated relief event stewards to join the team at the Centre for Sporting Excellence.
Applicants will be required to have a flexible approach to working hours, especially regarding evenings and weekends. The post involves a variety of duties including crowd and traffic management, hazard awareness and offering general assistance to members of the public.
All applicants must be customer orientated to ensure a high and consistent level of service provision that will encourage repeat business and be able to demonstrate their knowledge and enthusiasm in sport and recreation.
For the role, we ask that you have:
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
The ability to communicate face to face with members of the public.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
