The role
You'll be joining a high-performing programme delivery team, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our business change and technology projects. A key part of your role will be assessing the feasibility of new projects to make sure they align with the firm's strategy. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, capture business requirements, and help turn ideas into well-designed, effective solutions that deliver real value.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Lead the analysis and validate the requirements of proposed projects submitted to RPC's PMO
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of our legal and business operations.
3. Conduct research and analysis to understand stakeholder needs and expectations, providing data-driven insights to enhance decision making.
4. Conduct request for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) processes with suppliers of technical solutions.
5. Document requirements and process flows (current and planned)
6. Liaise and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
7. Help develop business cases and project plans, and measure progress and success against them
8. Assist with developing and running test and acceptance programmes
Skills
Knowledge, skills and experience
1. 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, working on business change and technology projects
2. Recognised BA qualification (e.g. BCS, IIBA)
3. Strong understanding of business analysis and project frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SWOT, gap analysis, target operating models)
4. Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
5. Ability to assess project feasibility and align proposals with business strategy
6. Skilled in business process modelling (e.g., BPMN, use case diagrams, workflows)
7. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into precise requirements
8. Confident in facilitating workshops and discovery sessions
9. Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver business change and technology projects
10. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify practical solutions
11. Awareness of technology trends and their impact on business processes
12. Ability to create clear, concise business cases, user stories, and documentation
13. Comfortable working with developers, architects, and IT teams to ensure feasible solutions
14. Familiarity with change management principles and supporting business adoption
15. Experience working within a structured programme or project delivery environment
