Grants Manager (Incoming, Fixed-Term)

The Partnerships Team plays a crucial role in enhancing the health and stability of Mozilla Foundation by expanding and diversifying our grant and corporate fundraising efforts. The team is instrumental in building a dynamic and engaged philanthropic partnership network.
This is a 1 year fixed-term position
Position Summary:
The Partnerships Team is looking for a dedicated Grants Manager to oversee all incoming grants management. Reporting to the Partnerships Operations Manager, the Grants Manager will handle every aspect of the grants process, from pre-award proposal development to post-award and award administration and closeout.

Pre-Award Proposals:
* Develop and review complex proposal budgets that align with funder and Mozilla’s guidelines.
* Review proposals to ensure compliance with Mozilla policies and funder guidelines.
* Collaborate with fundraising and program teams to respond to funding opportunities.
* Review all incoming grant agreements for financial requirements.
Post-Award & Closeout Administration:
Budget management tasks:
* Coordinate all financial reporting aspects of grants.
* Lead and support decision-making on grant expenses.
* Oversee tracking and monitoring of grant budgets.
Other responsibilities:
* Regularly meet with program staff to exchange updates.
* Oversee the grant reporting process.
* Support the annual audit and compliance issues.
* Work with various teams to resolve grants management issues.
* Develop and implement improved processes for grant management.
* Lead communication on all grant audits.
* Update and manage organization of all grants files.
Your Professional Profile:
* Minimum 5 years of grants management administration experience.
* Experience with incoming grants from government agencies and private foundations.
* Proficient in developing budgets and proposals for medium and large-sized grants.
* Strong understanding of fund accounting concepts and GAAP.
* Excellent understanding of grants-related legal and compliance requirements.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience with software platforms to support job responsibilities.
Salary and Benefits Information:
The Mozilla Foundation is dedicated to fair and equitable compensation. The starting salary ranges for this role are:
* UK: [£40,629 - £45,672] [target salary offer - £41,912]
* Canada: [$84,645 - $95,150] [target salary offer - $87,318]
* US: [$62,700 - $70,481] [target salary offer - $64,680]
Some regions fall into a higher salary market:
* London: [£50,787 - £57,090] [target salary offer - £52,390]
* New York & San Francisco: [$78,375 - $88,102] [target salary offer - $80,850]
