Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to support our in-house legal team, Transcare Law, on a part-time, fixed-term basis. This role provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced legal environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our legal function. Please note, this role requires the successful candidate to be on-site throughout the week. Key Responsibilities Invoice Management: Process and track legal and administrative invoices in line with Arriva’s policies. Debt Payment Administration: Support the administration of debt payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Document Management: Assist with photocopying, filing, and preparing Court Bundles electronically. Trial Preparation: Maintain trial lists and ensure all relevant documentation is up-to-date and organised. Correspondence Handling: Draft and send nomination letters and other legal correspondence as required. General Legal Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Skills & Experience: Strong organisational and analytical skills. Precise with a keen eye for detail. Experience or interest in the legal field is beneficial, but not essential. Excellent communication and coordination abilities, both written and verbal. Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable: Legal support experience. Knowledge of invoice processing and court procedures is a plus.
